AU Optronics cooperation Idemitsu Kosan claimed alliance on OLED development  (No Comments)

Today, AU Optronic announced cooperation with Japanese company Idemitsu Kosan which led the OLED-infused future is soon approaching in Taiwan. According to AUO, the partnership will not only exists companies collaborate on new OLED display but also the patents, and Idemitsu as the supplier to supply high-performance OLED materials to AUO which includes device structure proposal. Taiwan-based AUO delivered the following statement: “this will accelerate business growth in AUO’s small-sized OLED displays for smartphones and tablets, which have emerged as a new growth area in the display industry, and that of large-sized OLED displays for TVs.”
