Recently, there are some Apple rumor said that the next-generation iPhone will possibly feature built-in support for Near Field Communication (NFC) from a new report. Citing code acquired from a Pre-EVT next-generation iPhone prototype, 9to5Mac reports that the iPhones have NFC controllers connected directly to their power management units. The report also noted that NFC capabilities would tie-in well with Apple’s PassBook application for iOS 6, it allows the you to conduct transaction without needing to even scan the screen. Apart from that, NFC would also allows the users to quickly and easily share contact information and files from one phone to another.
Apple is likely to announce its next-generation iPhone this fall.
